Position Overview

How You’ll Make an Impact 

The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department in managing legal matters, transactions, and compliance initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities  

    • Legal Matter Management:
      • Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and matter tracking systems.
      • Assist in the intake, assignment, and tracking of legal requests and projects.
      • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure timely updates and resolution of legal matters.
      • Generate reports and dashboards to support legal operations and decision-making.
    • Contracts Support:
      • Support Contract Administration function by:
        • Assisting with due diligence into new private clients
        • Managing Certificate of Insurance process
        • Completing forms (statement of qualifications; new vendor; etc)
        • Reducing outstanding unsigned contracts statistics
    • Compliance & Regulatory:
      • Assist with regulatory filings and reporting obligations.
      • Support internal audits and investigations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience with legal matter management systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting legal or contract functions within the Architecture, Engineering, and
  • Construction (AEC) or environmental consulting industry.
  • Familiarity with professional services agreements, including MSAs, task orders, and subconsultant agreements.
  • Experience managing or coordinating Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and insurance compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or legal matter management systems (e.g., Agiloft or similar)

Compensation: $36.05-$45.67 hourly* 

*Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment. 

Working Conditions  

  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
